Welcome to Something Magickal!  This web site showcases art paintings, drawings, and other artworks by Ayako Goh.

Born in 1977 in Singapore, Ayako is a spiritual person who's mind can see beyond what the normal typical person sees, and some of those visions are conveyed in her artworks.  Although she wanted to major in fine art when she was young, for practical reasons, her grandpa convinced her to major in architectural design instead (a different form of art than what she had in mind).  Nevertheless, her love remains committed to the arts, mainly oil painting and drawing, so even while studying architecture she helped finance her education by creating over 300 works of art paintings and drawings which was sold to individuals and businesses by simple word of mouth.  Her paintings and drawings are abstract intuitive art pieces which have a style and uniqueness that is all her own.  Each art piece can either be an image of another person's character, a message, a reflection of a spiritual experience, a vision, an inspiration, or an emotion.

What Is Intuitive Art?

There is no definitive description for intuitive art. Often, it goes by many other names such as visionary art, touch art, spirit or spiritual art, psychic art, mandala art, new age art, outsider art, and angelic art. What connects them all? Although each of these forms of art may be unique and different from traditional art, what they commonly share are similar sources of inspiration or energy from which their art is created. Intuitive artists usually have little or no formal training in the fine arts; rather, their natural abilities comes about because they are on a different level of consciousness, a heightened sense of awareness in which they are in touch with their soul and the spiritual world, allowing them to see what ordinary people cannot. In this way, they act as mediums and each art work could be a vision or message passed down from the spiritual world to ours. Some of these visions or messages may be broad and powerful; viewers looking at the art piece would feel its power even though they may not understand it. These paintings or drawings may "speak" to a specific group or type of person, not in words but through shapes, symbols, colors, or texture of the image. In this way, intuitive art tends to be abstract and esotoric.

Ayako's brand of artwork veers towards the spiritual and psychic and are very personal.  For personal intuitive drawings, she will do a reading of a person using art paper and soft pastels as the medium; it is something magickal that is akin to having a psychic reading and having the reading translated onto paper in art form.  During the drawing, Ayako lets the spirit of the person she is interacting with guide her to produce the drawing that it wants to show the person; Ayako's other role is to then interpret the drawing for that person.  This is why each drawing is very personal and relates to that person at that moment in time.  It is a fairly new form of art and to the best of my knowledge Ayako is the only person to do this in Singapore.  Worldwide, there are very few people who have the ability to do this.

Besides 1-on-1 personal intuitive drawings, Ayako also creates other intuitive artworks of a more general nature.  These drawings deliver their messages to a wider audience; often, one drawing could have many different messages and meaning for different people.  These drawings are sometimes produced when Ayako has a "calling" or vision and is compelled to put it on paper.  Other times they simply flow from the depths of her spirit.

Hello there everyone,

I'm Ayako from Singapore.  Welcome to my web site..it was created by Tom for me as a Valentine's day present.  This site will consist of my art gallery, a place where i would continue to pour in more love and pieces of art works for everyone to view.  Those interested in purchasing, you could journey down to artworks for sale, every painting or drawing is original, drawn by divine beings that's been guiding me through the whole work.  Usually i start out blank, not knowing what to draw, what colors to use nor who it is for...i just let the energies guide me along the process till the very end of each art work.  In a way it is the good spirits that is drawing and using me as a medium to express what they want to show, so each piece of art is a unique and beautiful piece of work that is meant for that special someone out there...

I believe a lot in angels and faeries and other realms...i believe in the 'big guy' who's always there to help and listen to my ups and downs...i believe in Karma and i love to travel around the globe, getting to know more cultures and people...new friends made along the way...most of all, i believe in love.  Love like a mother's love for its child...unconditional & ever giving...
